Pre- Appointment information

    • Skin MUST be healthy! (No sunburns, flaky dry patches, breakouts etc.)

    • NO chemical peels, Botox, microdermabrasion at least 4 weeks before service.

    • NO major sun exposure 10 days AFTER treatment

    • CANNOT be pregnant or nursing

    • CANNOT be receiving treatment for cancer such as chemotherapy or radiation. Must have completed final treatments a minimum of one year prior to receiving the service. Chemo and radiation compromise your immune system. With tattooing, the main goal during the healing stages is to be sure you do not get an infection and cause further trauma to the skin. Doctors note will be required if less than one year.

    • IF blood thinners are to be taken, Doctors note may be required

    • You will have a full consultation the day of your appointment. After looking over your paperwork, we can then decide together which style of brow would best suite you. Don’t worry, I will help guide you through the process.

    • During the consultation, I will also “map” your brows. This will allow you to see the general shape and size before committing to the tattoo.

    • For eyeliner, You can choose between black or blackish brown pigment color. I will map the eyeliner on your lid before tattooing.

  • Skin complications

    • If you have skin (particularly in the area being tattooed) that is prone to complications with eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis (i.e your skin is in a constant state of flaking or itching) chances are your skin is in a state of shedding and will not be suitable to tattoo and therefore will not have good pigment retention.

    Medications

    • Accutane/Retin-A- Taking acne medications such as these within the last 6 months will alter the healing of these procedures. Some medications alter the condition of the skin. You will need to be off of the medications for 1 month - 6 months prior to tattooing.

    • If you are on any medication- Always consult your physician first before receiving a tattoo.

    Other conditions

    • Botox- you will want to get Microblading or machine brows BEFORE your Botox injections. If you receive Botox regularly you will need to wait 3 weeks before being tattooed.

    • Pregnant- you will want to wait until after pregnancy and nursing.

    • Hemophilia & heart conditions- if you are on medications that thin the blood, you might not be a good candidate. Always consult your doctor before getting any form of tattoo.
